We’re firm believers in celebrating your body and accepting the skin you’re in. When you reach a certain age, our body changes, and sometimes it takes us time to accept and embrace it. However, we know it’s taken forever to get to this stage and it’s about time we start accepting our body now or regretting it later. Here is some guidance on how to reduce (or, at the very least camouflage it) with these tips and products.
So what triggers cellulite? While the orange peel appearance of your dimples is usually genetic (if your mother has them, chances are you might too), it can also be brought on by unhealthy eating and not exercising regularly. Most importantly is that you’re not alone, 93% of women have cellulite. Here’s how you can lessen the appearance:
1. Body Brushing
Daily body brushing can jump-start lymphatic drainage, which helps to eliminate toxins that can accumulate in the fat layer, which can result in inflammation and worsen the look of your cellulite. It’s supposed to cure, well, basically everything, including poor digestion, cellulite, and whatever bad thing happens when your lymph nodes aren’t draining.
Here’s how to:
* Dry brush when your body is dry, before you shower.
* Always brush towards your heart. Brushing away from your heart puts pressure on the veins.
* It will feel a little uncomfortable, but by the end of the first week, you will love it and find it relaxing.
* Start at your feet. Brush the bottoms of your feet. Then brush up your legs, long stroking motions towards your heart. Brush each area twice.
2. Exfoliate More Often
If massages aren’t quite your thing, go for a caffeine-filled body scrub and pay special attention to the areas of concern. When used topically, a ground coffee exfoliant can minimize the appearance of cellulite in two ways: (1) Massaging the scrub onto skin stimulates lymphatic drainage and (2) Coffee, and cinnamon help tightens the skin and boosts blood circulation targeting firmer legs, hips, and stomach.

3. Smooth on a Serum
This anti-cellulite massage oil generates better blood circulation and reduces cellulite tissue found on the thighs, legs, and upper arms. A unique blend of essential oils improves skin tone and leaves your skin feeling soft and smooth.
4. Use a Self-Tanner
If you can’t tone it, tan it. Since there’s no cure for cellulite, you can only work to minimize its appearance with exercise and products, which take time to show visible results. Here is one of our all-time favorite self-tanners!
5. Get a Treatment
Sure, treatment is going to cost you more than a topical cream, but you’ll actually see results that last. LPG Endermologie, which is a fast, targeted slimming and anti-aging treatment for problem areas in your hips, thighs, and buttocks. LPG is a no-pain treatment that can dramatically improve cellulite, saddlebags, loose sagging skin and localized fat.
