Argan oil also marketed as Moroccan oil is a cosmetic powerhouse and holds a range of benefits to help boost the appearance of your skin, hair and nails. Thanks to high levels of vitamin E and essential fatty acids (namely, oleic acid and linoleic acid) this oil has extremely hydrating effects for dry skin where the antioxidants can be helpful for people with skin conditions like eczema. It also works to promote skin elasticity and reduce the signs of ageing and wrinkles. Did you know that it can make your hair colour last longer? The antioxidants found in argan oil are especially beneficial for colour-treated hair to prevent loss of pigment. An easy way to introduce it is by adding 1-2 drops and lightly running your fingers through your hair after styling or just adding it to the ends. Ready to test the potential argan oil benefits for yourself?
How to use
Pour 1-2 drops in the palm of your hand and apply in a circular motion to your face and neck.
Apply 2-4 drops to your favourite toner and spray onto face, allowing to dry before applying your cream.
To create an exfoliator, mix 1 tablespoon of brown sugar with a few drops of argan oil.
Rub onto your face in a circular motion then rinse with warm water.
Apply a few drops into the palms of your hands and pass your fingers through your hair, focusing on the ends.
To create a deep conditioning treatment, warm 4-10 drops into your hands before massaging your scalp.
Continue to apply oil on your hair all the way to your ends, twist and place in a shower cap.
Leave overnight, and then wash your hair in the morning.
Apply a drop onto the cuticle of your nails and gently rub into your nails.
Leave for the desired amount of time and then wash your hands.
